Golden Ice

This image is one of my personal favorite water shots! This could very well be one of my very first "keeper" shots that I blew up for clients to pretty large sizes in my earlier years of shooting. Took this on an insanely cold night in January, I'm pretty sure the air was well below freezing. The details in every drop are worth seeing in a full size print!

Dreamy Right

A classic day at a more secluded spot in central Long Island. Doesn't work like it used to but that's what makes this shot all the more sweet. Had it to ourselves this day... Perfect head high tubes and offshore winds all day long!

Into The Distance

The water don't get this color too often around here! Montauk in all of her tropical glory! I took this one in the Spring at Ditch Plains when the water happened to be very clear. This is one of my more popular images and really looks epic blown up!

The Fort Left

Another warm Montauk sunrise with a glassy midsummer wind swell in the ocean. This was taken under the cliffs of Shadmoor just outside of town.

Terrace Bluffs

I love the palette of colors in this particular image... The smooth lines create a calmness considering the energy that the image captures.

The Light

Another one of my more popular images... Everything in this one draw your eye towards the center. Abstract yet super clear at the same time. This particular shot is only attainable on Long Island a few days a year as the sun lines up perfectly out of the barrel. Trying to line up that day with waves, offshore winds, and clear enough skies during that window isn't that easy!

Sunlit Tube

Sunrise one morning down on the good ole sand stretch... Waves looked smaller from the empty beach then they actually were. Swam out to grab a few backlit tube shots and this was one of the results. Memorable morning, still some power left in the hurricane surf!

Jetty Creature

This was taken down by the jetty at Ditch Plains one Summer evening. The waves weren't that great but the light and colors were exceptional so I jumped in to capture a few of these mini mutants.

Faded

This one was taken out east during sunset. I slowed the shutter down to capture a little motion and turned it black an white. This one really sets off a room without intruding with a big flare of color.

Backyard Barrel

A crispy one from Miami Beach in Barbados... The perfect beach to hone in on your body surfing or wave profile shots. Waist deep water with 2 foot waves that are peaky and hollow! Dreamy setups!

Solar Eclipse

Paying close attention to details here... Abstract look down the curl of a wave. Would look cool big, just sayin'.

Over It

Very popular image on social media... Kind of neat how the clouds appear as an extension of the whitewater of the wave, over the lighthouse. I promise this one was luck!

Limitless

That beautiful golden light that Long Island gets because our coastline runs east and west. The same light that blinds you going right during a sunrise and blinds you going left at sunset! Wouldn't change it for the world!

Surfer's Spot

Not so funny story about this shot... It was the last one. Luck to have found the person who swam to the bottom of the ocean, brought it to the beach and I was still able to pull the images from the memory card. All 10 of them.

Cliffs From Within

A moody and majestic Montauk from within the barrel of a wave. This was taken late fall at sunset just as that Sun heads up setting over the ocean instead of the land.

Adrift

Another calming image, no waves, not too powerful or overwhelming... Just stare and let the relaxation settle in!
