Fall 2020, Montauk NY. After the fires in California had burned for several months, the winds finally turned in a direction that we actually saw upper level smoke in our skies here in NY. It turned our skies hazy and our Sun copper for a few days during an awesome hurricane swell.
See "Fire Skies" for why the sky was this color. This was taken during a hurricane swell in September of 2020.
This is the third of a three wave photo collection that pairs warm tones from an unusual fire sky that we experienced here in NY this past Fall.
